Schematics - Rock-It Launcher

Fallout New Vegas Rock It Launcher Mod

The Rock-It Launcher is a big gun in Fallout 3. The Rock-It Launcher allows one to shoot Rock-It Launcher ammunition, a wide variety of junk items from tin cans to teddy bears, at their enemies. Heavier objects will arc more in flight outside of V.A.T.S. Targeting; given the rate of fire (3.3/s. The Rock-It Launcher is not present in Fallout: New Vegas, despite the presence of its schematics. This appears to be largely due to a functional difference in the GECK which prevents weapons from using Miscellaneous Items as ammunition as Verified through experimental process.

Schematics - Rock-It Launcher are the schematics needed to make the Big Guns weapon 'Rock-It Launcher' in Fallout 3.

CharacteristicsEdit

Possessing multiple copies of schematics increases the initial repair condition of the weapon: One copy gives a condition percent equal to 75% of the player's repair skill, two gets 100%, and three gets 125%. While four copies of the schematic exist in the game, having the fourth copy does not improve your weapon's initial condition.

ComponentsEdit

Once the player character has the schematics, they will need a workbench and one of each of the following items:

Component locationsEdit

  • All items (including schematics) can be bought at Craterside Supply in Megaton.
  • A few of the components can be stolen in Lucky's (Lucky's also has all of the components needed to make a shishkebab, dart gun and Nuka-grenade). Another such location is the room that Horace Pinkerton has taken refuge in at the Rivet City bow, which contains practically everything needed to make all of the crafted weapons.

NotesEdit

In Fallout: New Vegas, the schematics were originally available in the game, located in Nellis hangars. Despite the presence of its schematics, the Rock-It Launcher was not present in Fallout: New Vegas and could not be constructed. As of patch 1.2.0.314, the schematics no longer appear in Fallout: New Vegas, completely removing all reference of the Rock-It Launcher from the game.
